Gun Show at Southtowne Expo Center

Who went to the show? What were the highlights? How was the show? Anybody care to comment?

The show was terrible. Not very many booths selling guns at all. I think I saw more FAKE weapons and air soft weapons than actual guns. And for the price me and my wife paid to get in it was a serious let down. Prices where normal and we where expecting good deals. Seemed more like just some local pawn shops selling guns only. My wife did buy a Cobra CA380 from the last table we went to at a descent price. But for the cost of admission plus gun we could have got it elsewhere for the same. Since we did not get to examine the gun (they brought out one in a box that wasnt displayed) we did not notice it had problems. It was brand new but the magazine would not even come out without getting out the old toolbox. Luckily Cobra arms is in town and I was able to take it there for a fix. It took them about an hour of re-machining the pistol and test firing it to make sure it worked correctly. We are glad we got it fixed but agreed NO MORE GUN SHOWS. it would have been nice to see you guys there with a table.

I hate to have to say this, but I moved out here from Tampa, Florida, in late August of 1999, and have wanted to see Crossroads of the West gun show, ever since. Well, I finally was able to get to the last one (November 2011), and I was ALSO quite disappointed! BIG "let down!" I found only three "exhibitors" that I would even CONSIDER purchasing from, and one of those was selling small, RC helicopters! There was a REAL dearth of weapons sellers, then I saw your Orem store exterior from the UTA bus, on the way home to Provo! I found your web site on a signboard on South 89, between Provo and Springville, which is how and why I am posting this.
