CONCEALED CARRY
This is a 4 hour class and is required by law for acquiring a concealed firearm permit(CFP) in Utah. There are 3 hours of class instruction followed by one hour of shooting and firearms training. Students must provide both a semi auto and revolver handgun plus 50 rounds for each gun. Cost for this class is $35.00 per student. Cost includes the educational portion of your application for a CFP. The CFP itself is an additional cost and is approximately $120.00 total.
BASIC HANDGUN
Basic Pistol class is a class designed for the beginning shooter. There will be time spent in the classroom going over things like: gun safety, basic maintenance, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and breathing.
The majority of the class will be spent on the range. The instructors will critique and give you ideas for you to use and become a more accurate shooter.
You will need to bring at least 250 rounds of ammunition, a handgun and preferably 2 magazines.
The class will run 2 to 2.5 hours and will cost $50.00 per person. Limit 12 students per class. If you do not own a handgun the store will rent you one for an additional fee. Ammunition can also be purchased at the store for and additional fee.
BASIC RIFLE/SHOTGUN
2-3 hour class divided into two 2 hour segments. The first segment takes place in the class room. The second segment will be on the range. Students will be required to bring their own rifle and shotgun plus 40 rounds for rifle and 25 for shotgun. Cost is $65.00 per student and includes range and target fees.
WOMEN'S ONLY CLASS
This is a class taught by a woman for women who have had little to no exposure to firearms. It is a 4 hour class divided into two segments. The first segment covers firearm familiarity, safety and exposure to guns in general. This segment will also cover personal protection and home defense. The second segment is hands on training. Students will be required to supply a handgun and 100 rounds. Cost is $85.00 per student and the class is limited to 8 students. Cost includes range time and target fees.
COMBAT HANDGUN
Combat pistol is a class designed for the CFP holder and the more advanced shooter. In this class we will spend time in the classroom talking about: mindset, tunnel vision, auditory exclusion, heart rate, pre attack postures, mental preparation, 21 foot rule and survival.
There will also be range time. We will spend time drawing from the holster. We will perform movement drills; we will fire in no light situations (for those who have flashlights). We will engage multiple targets. We will do reloading drills and weapon failure drills.
You will be required to bring at least 350 rounds of ammunition. Handgun and holster (preferably the one you will use while carrying a CFP), and AT LEAST 2 magazines. If you have a flashlight you can bring it and we will fire in a no light setting, but a flashlight is not required.
The class will cost $100 per person. The classes will last 4 to 5 hours. Limit 12 students per class. Ammunition can also be purchased at the store for and additional fee.
AR15 COURSE
This is a 3 hour class dealing with nothing but the AR15. Each student will build their own AR15 that is theirs to keep.*** Students must supply 100 rounds of 5.56/.223 ammo for test fire. This class is limited to 6 students per class. Cost is $1100.00 per student for basic M4A3 AR15. This course is not eligible for membership discounts.
